A few weeks back I had the pleasure of spending a muggy Sunday afternoon with Lauralynn and Ryan, avid Star War fans who will be getting married this coming October. Our plan was to first meet at the Hyeholde Restaurant in Moon, an 80+ year old building, constructed as a token of love by William Kryskill and his wife Clara. It seemed like such a fitting place to capture an engagement session, with its beautiful grounds, rich history, amazing architecture and of course a couple in love! The weather was even cooperating…for about five minutes. Then, one of the isolated (and by isolated I mean directly over us) showers that had a 10% chance of popping up that day appeared. We scrambled back to our cars, waiting for the storm to move through. It was worth the wait though, as we spent the next hour walking around the grounds and capturing beautiful images!
After that we swung by their home and picked up their two Pomeranians, Lando and Anakin (I told you they were Star Wars fans!), to head over to the Montour Trail, which Lauralynn and Ryan frequent. The humidity had really kicked it up a notch, and being along a creek certainly wasn’t helping any. But the young couple were
stormtroopers, and the dogs were were on their best behavior as we took a short walk along the trail, creating more engagement memories!
I had such an awesome time, and Lauralynn and Ryan are so much fun to be around. I can’t wait to capture their wedding in a few months!
Enjoy the images!
