Pittsburgh is such a great place to be a photographer during any season, but winter is definitely one of my favorite times to capture the city, especially when it’s during an engagement session like I had the chance to shoot a couple weeks back. Brit and Tory were celebrating the holidays in Pittsburgh, as he was in visiting her from out of town. I had the opportunity to meet up with them early on a Saturday morning and spend some time capturing an engagement session with them at a couple of my favorite places around the city!
It was such a beautiful day (though it started out a little cold) and there was even still some snow left on the ground to provide that perfect winter backdrop. We started out on Herr’s Island, up the Allegheny River a bit, where the two of them got engaged just a month before. After stops on the North Shore, downtown and Point State Park, we finally shot some images on Mt. Washington and the Duquesne Incline to end the day. I had a lot of fun meeting them and can’t wait to capture their wedding day later this year!
