The great thing about living in Pittsburgh is that any time of year is an awesome time to capture the city and it’s even better for taking engagement pictures! A couple weeks back I had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with Erin and Mike and capture their engagement pictures, along with their dog Murphy. I was a bit worried earlier in the day, as a snow storm rolled through the region a few hours before we were supposed to meet up and while I love the snow, shooting portraits in a blizzard isn’t always the best! Luckily it let up, and while the sun didn’t come out, there was a fresh coat of snow covering the city that made for a great backdrop for the shoot! We spent some time on Mt. Washington, the Duquesne Incline, downtown at PPG Place with the Christmas tree and Station Square and Erin and Mike (and Murphy!) were troopers through the cold and the snow! Here is a collection of some of my favorite shots of this winter engagement in Pittsburgh…hope you enjoy them too!
