Kickin’ up sand

As I was cleaning out some folders last night on my computer I came across a whole set of shots from Ocean City, Maryland from the vacation that my wife and I took with our siblings this summer that I had not posted yet.  Since the weather is getting nice and cold here now, I thought that these might help to warm us up a little bit.

These are a variety of shots from our trip, not from one specific day.  I actually have a few more I’d like to post as well, but we’ll just stick to these for the time being.  Ocean City really is such a fun place and although I hadn’t been there for about ten years, it was just as I remember it.  The water was just as salty, the boardwalk just as crowded, the same smells were wafting from the funnel cake vendors.  My family had a lot of great memories there growing up and I was happy that we were able to return and make some more.

A similar view as the first one, just on a different day and a little later in the morning

The Ocean Gallery fine art store is an iconic site on the boardwalk

One thing that was new about Ocean City from my last visit was the benches.  The old ones that would be flipped to face either way have been replaced with ones that display rememberances of loved ones.

Hmmm, well which is it?

They even have a mini beach now

Thanks for stopping by today everyone.  See you all tomorrow.

Great set of shots Dave. Really love the perspective and composition in the Ocean Gallery image, and who doesn’t love a mini beach. So cool.ReplyCancel

Those are some epic clouds, look real nice. Great processing. What’s going on with that building?!? It looks like it has been put together with random parts and news paper :)ReplyCancel

Wonderfully dreamy set – love the slide show too. The shot of Ocean Gallery is very clever – the technique just suits that corner building. Clever thinkingReplyCancel
